Note if you have just started your server, it is possible that the session manager will not be available quite yet, even if the health check shows 2 on 2 in the console. Choose “Session Manager”, then click the orange “Connect” button. In the table select your license server, then in the top bar click the button “Connect”. For that, go into the AWS console, search for EC2, then in the left column click “Instances”. We will now install the Chaos License server and configure it. Activate the Chaos License serverĪt this stage of the tutorial, you should have a running, but empty Linux server. Wait for it to be fully booted (“Status check” should indicate “2/2 checks passed” in the EC2 instance list on the AWS console) to continue this tutorial. Still having some problems? Return to SketchUp and sign out of your account.Navigate to and click Continue with Trimble and sign in using your Trimble ID.Click Online Licensing at the top of the page and click Sign Out.Open your preferred web browser and navigate to to open the Chaos License Server.Select SketchUp Studio and click Save Product Access.
Wait around 5 minutes and select Modify Product Access again for that same user.In the list of products, deselect SketchUp Studio.Open the context menu ( ) next to the user's name and select Modify Product Access.If you have more than one account, choose the appropriate account and click Members. Open your Trimble Account Management Portal (if you need help getting there, use this link).
Note:You must have an active SketchUp Studio subscription or Trial to use V-Ray with SketchUp.
